2025 Mulch Order Form (Ends Feb. 28)

In the summer of 2025, Troop 1299 crews will travel to both Philmont Scout Ranch and Summit Bechtel Reserve. The group of scouts participating at Philmont will be backpacking in the mountains of New Mexico. The group of scouts participating at The Summit will be spending a week participating in exciting adventures in West Virginia. These scouts are selling premium mulch from Living Earth to help raise funds for the trip.

We are offering 3 types of fine shredded mulch:

Premium Hardwood, Black, or Cedar.

All products are sold in 2 cubic foot bags (see coverage calculator at bottom of form).

Free delivery is included (within 10 mile radius of Suncreek United Methodist Church in Allen).

Mulch orders will be accepted through February 28, 2025.

Delivery will take place on Saturday March 15, 2025.

	Black Mulch 2 cubic foot bag more Black Mulch is composed of white wood from fresh ground pine and hardwood lumber and then dyed black. It looks great under shrubs and trees and its dark color highlights the plants above.	$6.00
	Hardwood Mulch 2 cubic foot bag more Hardwood Bark Mulch is dark brown and fine-textured. When used as a top dressing it moderates soil temperature, suppresses weed growth and conserves moisture. As it decomposes, Hardwood Bark Mulch adds vital organic content into the soil beneath.	$6.00
	Cedar Mulch 2 cubic foot bag more Cedar Mulch is shredded native cedar tree leaves, bark, and white wood and has a reddish-brown color and pleasing aroma. It contains cedar oil and therefore lasts longer than most mulch. Due to its fibrous texture, Cedar Mulch tends to hold together on sloped surfaces.	$6.50
