Uniforms

Troop 1299 maintains the following uniform requirements:

"Class A":

• Boy Scout shirt
• Scouting crest patch
• Rank patch*
• Patrol Patch*
• "1299" patch*
• Position patch (as appropriate)*
• "Arrow of Light" patch, if earned
• Green epaulets (shoulders)*
• Name tag*
• Scout shorts or khaki "cargo" shorts in spring through fall
• Pants or jeans (good condition) in the winter
• Belt
• Closed toe, lace up shoes
• Socks
• Troop cap or scouting cap

"Class B":

• Troop tee shirt* or other scouting affiliated tee shirt
• Scout shorts or khaki "cargo" short
• Belt
• Closed toe, lace up shoes
• Socks

*Denotes items which are part of the merchandise package included with a $25 joining fee.

The Troop does not wear a neckerchief, except for the rank of Eagle. 

Camouflage or "military" attire and athletic shorts are not acceptable.
