FEES

The following represents the costs associated with being a member of the Troop:

• BSA registration = $85 annually (youth); = $65 annually (adults)
• Scout Life Magazine = $15 annually (optional)
• Troop 1299 Joining Fee = $50 (one-time)
• Troop Fall Assessment 2024 = $100 (can be reduced or waived based upon fundraising activity completed by the Scout)
• Merchandise package fee = $30 (one-time)
• Uniform = Prices set by Scout Shop, see Uniform page for details on what is needed
• Weekend campout (food/gas) = $20 (typical)
• Activity fees = varies based upon specific activity

Troop 1299 believes no Scout should be turned away due to financial needs.  To that end, the Troop maintains a "campership" fund to provide financial assistance when needed.  The only requirement is for the recipient to actively participate in fundraising opportunities. For more information see our Welcome Packet
