Salvation Army Bell Ringing
Our troop will be volunteering to be Bell Ringers, collecting money for the Salvation Army at the Walmart at Exchange and 75 (Grocery Store door). Please consider donating 2 hours of your time for this worthy cause. We will need 2 Scouts and 1 adult for each time slot.
At 10 am, a member of the Salvation Army organization will meet the first Scout group. Our task will be to ring the bell near the kettle, while asking Walmart guests if they would consider making a donation to the Salvation Army. No amount is too big or too small!
Please wear your Class A uniform and a smile to greet holiday shoppers. Since it will be December and we will be outside, please plan to bring a jacket. At the end of the day (6 pm), we simply lock the kettles and leave them for pick up.
