Additionally, I will have a box every Monday for the rest of the month for anyone who cannot attend my Eagle Scout project but still wants to donate towards the cause. On the other hand, if you want to help with my Eagle Scout project but cannot bring any items to donate, any help will be accepted.
To everyone who wants to attend my Eagle Scout project, it will be taking place on September 1st from 2:30 - 4:30 at my house, 3205 Sedona Lane, Plano, TX 75025. Please send me a quick email at shahsohums@gmail.com if you are interested in coming to the project so I have sufficient water and snacks for everyone. Once again, thank you to everyone who is helping me with this project and bless up.

UPDATE:
Hello Scouts,
My name is Sohum Shah and I am currently conducting my Eagle Scout project. As many of y'all may remember from Monday night, I am creating school supply kits for children in third world countries under the poverty line to receive basic school supplies. Instead of continuing with paper sign up, I have created a sign up genius:
https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0444ACAF29A0FA7-sohum
Those who cannot attend my project on September 1st can still participate in the project. Each Monday leading up to September 1st, I will be at the troop meeting with a box that Scouts can put the school supplies in so everyone has a chance to participate. If you decide to help out, please be sure to look at the specifications listed in the description of each school item because if an item does not follow the guideline, I will not be able to use the donated item.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time at shahsohums@gmail.com and have a great day.
Thanks,
Sohum Shah

Hello Troop 1299,
For those who don't know me, my name is Sohum Shah and I have been with the Troop for about 6 years now. On September 1st, I am planning to conduct my Eagle Scout project in which we will be putting together school supply kits in partnership with IOCC, a charity devoted to helping those in poverty in third world countries. Each school kit will consist of:
- 1 scissor
- 6 pencils
- 3 notebooks
- 1 eraser
- 1 ruler
- 1 box of 24 crayons.
With school shopping underway, I would appreciate it if each Scout would be willing to buy a few of the following supplies to contribute to making these bags. My goal for this project is to build 50 school supply bags which would mean a total collection of 50 scissors, 300 pencils, 150 notebooks, 50 erasers, 50 rulers, and 50 crayon packs. Below, I have attached a picture of the supplies needed and the specifications for each of the supplies. When buying the supplies, please keep in mind that these bags will be going internationally and so if a supply does not follow the exact guidelines in the picture below, customs will not allow the bags to be shipped.
Whether or not you are able to contribute to my project, please try to attend the project on September 1st as we will need Scouts to help with putting together these school kits. If you are able to contribute in any way towards my project, please don't hesitate to contact me at shahsohums@gmail.com and enjoy the rest of summer.
Thanks,
Sohum Shah
