Scouting for Food is going to be Saturday, February 9th.  We will meet in the parking lot at Evans Elementary (1225 Walnut Springs Dr, Allen) at 9 am for instructions /bags/flyers, and start collecting the food at 9:30.  I need at LEAST 7 adult drivers to drive the scouts to their collection sectors, and to transport the food.  We are planning to have approximately 7 or 8 broken apart sections of the neighborhood which we will be collecting from. The majority of the information and the specifics will be explained the morning of collection day. If your scout is attending and you as the adult are going with, then you should sign up to be a driver. This is a troop event that is mandatory unless you have a conflicting event, in which case you need to email Mr. Bergthold to let him know why you cannot make it.
