Dinosaur Valley/Fossil Rim Campout
REMINDERS:
Troop 1299 - Dinosaur Valley & Fossil Rim campout
Scouts and parents attending the upcoming Dinosaur Valley campout, please make sure to attend Monday night's meeting as we'll go over campout planning.
All scouts are required to bring in a completed Permission Slip (attached) to the meeting
Grub & Gas Money:
Troop 1299 Scouts: $20: $15 Grub + $5 Gas
All attending Adults: $20
Visiting Webelos: $15
Campsite:
Sauropod Group Campsite at Dinosaur Valley State Park
We will meet at Suncreek UMC at 5:30PM on Friday for a 6:00PM target departure.
It should take a couple hours to get there.
Parents will be using the GroupMe app to communicate.
Extra Money for Souvenir and Animal Feed:
Parents may want to consider sending a few dollars with their scouts for souvenirs at Fossil Rim or at the State Park but also to purchase bags of Animal Feed at Fossil Rim (if necessary).
Electronics:
Per Troop rules, electronics will not be allowed for scouts on this campout.
Fear not, we have a lot of adults on this trip who will certainly be paparrazing the event.
