TUBING/FLOAT TRIP CAMPOUT

This campout is being planned by the Beaver Patrol Leader and Mr. Hobart. 

Campout Planning Meeting: September 18, 2023. Attendance for Troop 1299 at campout planning meeting is required to attend the campout, and encouraged for all Webelos and parents. Gas and grub is $20 per person, please bring $5's and $1's and give to your patrol leader. Permission slips will be turned in at this meeting.

Additional Information: All Scouts, Webelos and Adults must be classified as BSA "Swimmer" to float the river. We will be leaving Suncreek UMC at 6:00pm on Friday night.

Campout Location:  South Llano River State Park

Webelos Scouts and parents are invited to join in for a weekend of camping and participate in River Float. Webelos will join in the patrol method of camping and see how a BSA Troop works.

We will be camping Friday night and returning Sunday morning. Saturday afternoon will include a float trip on the South Llano River.
